1. Data Storage and Offline Architecture The core functionality of Insurance Tracker: AssetGuard is designed to be 100% offline. All personal data you enter into the App—including but not limited to insurance policies, home inventory, vehicle details, personal documents, receipts, and accident reports—is encrypted and stored strictly locally on your device. We do not have any backend servers. We do not transmit, upload, or store your personal data or documents on any cloud servers or third-party databases.

2. Information Automatically Collected by Third-Party Services While we do not collect your personal data, the App uses a third-party service (Google AdMob) to display advertisements. To serve ads effectively, this third-party service may automatically collect certain technical information, which includes:Device Information & Identifiers: Such as Advertising IDs (Device ID), OS version, and device model.
App Activity: Information about how you interact with the application and advertisements.
Diagnostics: Crash logs and app performance data.

All data collected by Google AdMob is encrypted in transit (via HTTPS). For more information on how Google uses this data, please review the Google Privacy & Terms.

3. Permissions Used by the App To provide specific features, the App may request access to the following hardware on your device:Camera & Gallery: Used exclusively to allow you to attach photos to your policies, vehicles, receipts, and accident reports. Images are saved locally on your device and never uploaded to the internet.
Location (GPS): Used only when you explicitly tap the "Location" button to log the coordinates of an accident report. The coordinates are saved locally on your device and are never shared with us or other users.
Biometrics (Fingerprint/Face ID): If enabled in settings, the App uses your device's native biometric hardware to unlock the App. We never access, read, or store your actual fingerprint or face data.

4. Data Deletion and Backup Since all data is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control over it. You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the App's storage from your device settings or by uninstalling the App. You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the App's "Export Data" feature, as uninstalling the App will permanently delete all records.

5. Children's Privacy Our App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with information, please note that all data is kept locally on the device and can be easily deleted by uninstalling the App.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
